The dream of Outwest Rags was born right here in Montana, where the spirit of the frontier still runs strong. It all started when I noticed something missing in Western wear — none of the shirts I saw truly honored the legendary artists who painted the very images we associate with the West. Their art captured the heart of cowboy country, yet their legacy was nowhere to be found in the apparel meant to represent it.

So, I set out to change that. Fueled by a love for the West’s rugged beauty and a desire for quality craftsmanship, I decided to give it a kick — creating apparel that celebrates the authentic art, stories, and spirit that built the American frontier.
